HEALTHCARE PROFESSIONALS

Specialized Training
Healthcare professionals practicing in Quebec must keep their skills up to date. It is therefore desirable that they improve their expertise in the management of hypertension, its associated risk factors and complications. By ensuring the transfer of specialized knowledge to various professionals, the SQHA contributes to improving the cardiovascular health of Quebecers. Learn more

STUDENTS AND RESEARCHERS

Excellence scholarships and internships
In 2022, the budget of the Fonds de recherche du Québec - Santé (FRS-Q) has been cut by 25%, or $26 million. The Quebec government's overall research budget has been slashed by $80 million, a reduction of almost 35%. It is therefore essential for the SQHA to promote the training of new researchers by awarding excellence grants. Learn more
