My career would probably have taken a very different turn without the support of the Société québécoise d’hypertension artérielle. I’ll always remember the call to my workplace from Mme France Boulianne, DG, to tell me that I had won a Master’s scholarship… This scholarship, as well as the various awards I have received over the years (Presentation Award, Research Coup de Coeur Award), have strongly encouraged me to pursue my research. SQHA has undoubtedly propelled my career forward.
